App Privacy Notice

Scope

This notice applies to the Motenza mobile application and the customer-facing services directly supporting it. Other Motenza websites or services may display separate notices.

Information you provide

We collect information you provide when you create an account, verify contact information, complete a business funding application, upload requested documents, communicate with Motenza, review agreements, or complete another step in the app.

Depending on the workflow, this may include contact details, business information, application details, requested documents, communications, agreement acknowledgements, and electronic signature records.

Identity verification

Identity verification is provided through Stripe Identity. Identity images and verification evidence are handled within the provider workflow. Motenza receives the verification status and limited provider references needed to operate and audit the application journey.

Bank connection

When a bank connection is requested, Plaid provides the connection experience. Motenza does not receive your online banking password. Information returned by Plaid is used only for the applicable business funding and underwriting workflow.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure your account, provide the requested app experience, process and review applications, request and review documents, manage verification and agreement steps, communicate with you, prevent misuse, maintain audit records, and comply with legal obligations.

How information is shared

Information may be shared with service providers that support authentication, communications, secure storage, identity verification, bank connection, electronic signatures, infrastructure, and application operations. When appropriate, application information may also be shared with participating funding providers for the requested business funding process.

We do not use information submitted through the Motenza app for third-party behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain application and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or regulatory requirements. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

To ask about your information, request a correction, or request account assistance, contact support@motenzacapital.com. Some records may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, audit, contractual, or legal purposes.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date on this page identifies the current version.
